As Tour de France fever grows, here are three photos from Parham Momtahan.
In his words, "Here are a group of friends who celebrated Canada Day by climbing to the top of Col. du Tourmalet in the French Pyrenees. This is the highest ascent on Tour de France. On that day we climbed a total of almost 10,000 feet! Happy that old geezers like us can still do stuff like that ;-) "

January 11, 2010: Here are 3 chilling and amusing photos sent in by Parham Momtahan. "Lester Kovac, Alex Cullen (who are both attempting their first CdB Gold this year) and I skied from Nak South to North, for a practice camp out overnight and skied back last weekend. It was a beautiful ski, particularly through the Middle Kingdom. The trail snow conditions are great, not too firm and not too soft." It was minus 23 degrees overnight.

(but why was Lester roasting his skis over the fire -in the second photo?)
