A variety of tracks on the Gatineau Parkway around noon. Plus 3 and very, very soggy.
A word to skiers about the rash of recent car break-ins: A police officer stopped to talk to me while I was at P5, and advised me to be on the lookout for a blue Pontiac Montana. From the police web site:
The men were travelling aboard a fairly recent Pontiac Montana minivan, blue in color, bottom of the doors gray. There was a luggage rack on the roof. The thefts were perpetrated by the passenger, a while male, approximately 40 years of age, well built. He was wearing an orange coat and a red tuque. In order to gain access to the vehicles, holes were drilled below the door locks.
Anyone having information on these individuals is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Section of the Public Security Service of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais at 819-459-2422 or via Info-Crime at 1-800-711-1800.
Very useful info, Jo Ann. Lets bust these guys. We could hatch a plot at our next SOFITS session. Disguises, set-ups, cell phone signals. I want to drive the getaway car.

Thank you for this important information. As long as people leave valuables in their cars we will have someone braking-in. Valuables should be left at home or carried in day bags.
