Today was as good as it gets.  With more than 20 cm of fresh snow, brilliant sunshine,  deserted classic-only trails and a refreshing temperature of minus 18 -20 (minus 30 with windchill), we discovered every trail on our planned route to be impeccably groomed.  It was the gold standard of classic skiing.  120114_A-Trail53 120114_B-Trail51or55 120114_C-Trail-55 120114_D-Taylor-Lake 120114_F-Lac-Renaud 120114_G-Renaud 120114_H-Lac-Philippe 120114_I-Trail52 120114_J-Trail52B

Yes, it was lovely this week-end.Stayed at Taylor Yurt ( first time I’ve ever experienced frozen toilet paper in the outhouse!)and had great skiing.
