One of those most glorious wintry days. Minus 12 this morning, a fresh dusting of snow and enough wind to feel really alive (“gusting to 60 kph” according to EC). By the way, there was a beaver swimming around in the open water. Skiing? I spotted one desperate skier chugging along in the grass but I thought hiking was a much more enjoyable option. Fingers crossed for more snow tomorrow! Check previous photo for an idea of how much little snow fell yesterday.
