Jenny, on her way back from an early morning ski.  Incredible mid-winter conditions today!  Everything seems to be compacted (trails 2, Burma, 1B, 24, Ridge to McKinstry) and there are classic  tracks on the parkway.  The crews were still out working on the trails this morning.  All the regulars are out, and the parking lots were half to three quarters full by  noon.  Conditions were really favorable for classic skiing, slightly soft for skating.  This is the earliest I have ever skied Ridge Road with good skis.  More photos will be posted this evening, to celebrate the return of winter.
