A most interesting ski today from P16.    It included a relaxed ski to Herridge, a long sit at Healey and a detour down to Meech Lake on trail 36 – and then another sit.  Temperatures reached 23 degrees while I was out!   The noise of the creeks dominated the ski, but the most fun part was being blasted by cold air at the bottom of downhills and alongside some of the creeks.   Skiing was better than walking but it was not surprising that I met only one other human the entire time I was out.  It was a park maintenance guy driving by with a barricade to keep people from using the trail.  The last hill to P16 is pretty much history at this point.  I believe I heard wolves on trail 36, and did see large tracks.    That was about the time I turned around.
