A short canoe foray. Of course the spring peepers were vocalizing, but we also heard a Barred Owl, geese and (possibly) an American Bittern. A turtle briefly poked its head out of the water to grab some air, a couple of beavers swam by and a heron landed for its night shift on the lake. It was wonderful!
