Great photo of Rock Tripe (this is a foliose lichen). You can make soup from this if you are interior camping and are cold and miserable!
…of course, don’t try this in protected areas like parks
That made me laugh. This one was not a park! The trail here was almost non existent and we swore that next time we would take emergency food and gear with us. Now we know we can survive on Rock Tripe soup!
