During this extended rainy thaw, the NCC is asking everyone to stay off ALL TRAILS:
- Passing skiers will bring the water to the surface of the trails, which will make them icy once temperatures fall below the freezing point;
- As a result of tracks left by skiers in soft conditions, the ski surface will no longer be uniform and therefore more difficult for the maintenance team to restore.
As it is important to facilitate the trails’ drainage, we are counting on your collaboration to avoid the ski, snowshoe and snow bike trails on Tuesday and Wednesday, thereby allowing us to preserve the integrity of the network, with the ultimate goal of prolonging the season. Following the assessment of the trail conditions by the maintenance team on Thursday, we will send an update of the situation on Friday”.
