No one hikes around Lac Champagneur. They mostly wield chain saws and drive everywhere on ATV’s. (Garry thinks there should be a Roger Tory Peterson guide for identifying cottage sounds: lawn movers, chain saws, sea-dos, waterskiers, etc. Luckily our lake is pretty quiet except for weekends.) Anyway, these trails were created for hunting and snowmobiling, and they are deserted right now. We have been trying to figure out where they all go as there are no maps or signage. Fun!
