Nature lovers!? What a circus the park is during the leaf party, and it’s a good reason to avoid the park on October weekends, unless you avoid the main driving routes, or go really early. People will pull off anywhere rather than walk 200 meters, and the traffic is a nightmare. This line up of people exiting the area was not moving. At. All. Sad that people don’t seem to realize the park is beautiful all year.

True…but would you really want all these people in the Park all year round? Not me. So I accept that for the 4 weekends of Fall Rhapsody, the south end of the park will be jammed full 0f leaf tourists. We just go to the north end and all is good.
