What a beautiful day! Sunny, plus 16 with a slight breeze. The black flies were still sleepy enough that they were noticeable only when we were chatting in the parking lot after our afternoon run along Ridge Road.

Another favorite spot, a view familiar to anyone who bikes on the Rockcliffe Parkway. Apologies if I’ve posted this shot too many times. I always love it and frequently stop to admire the scenic bend of the river pathway below, and the Gats in the background.
