A rather somber, late afternoon ski on parkways and trails 15 and 7. My waxless classic skis finally came into their own at plus 6 -10 degrees. For the second time ever I used the cotton carrier for my SLR, this time with a wide-angle lens. It was fun and very relaxing to poke along with the big camera, although the photos of the one person I did meet didn’t turn out well, sorry Steffan. (By the way, there was still over a foot of hard-packed snow on the trails, based on how far my poles went down beside the trail, and no bare spots. That’s about to change..)
