For fun she and I hiked with our dogs over the small mountain to her cottage (she knows the way as she used to hike in to fetch her boat, but there was no longer a visible trail, at least as far as I could tell!). After a tea party Loki and I bushwhacked our way back. This was a tame stretch on the top, but there were many gullies, fallen trees and head-high ferns to confuse us. I think Loki was wondering if I knew the way!!
