However there seems to be a convention going on.  These 5 were partying two mornings ago.  Garry saw 7 at one point.  But the highlight?  A game of chicken when  two loons checked me out while I was swimming.  They were noisy to enough to hear above my gargly breathing, even with a bathing cap and water-plugged ears.  It was very cool, but also a bit spooky to see them so close and on the same level in the water.
