January 7, 2011:

Skaters near Kingsmere.   The soft snow made for really slow skating this afternoon.  Not that anyone seemed to mind!  A large “eastern canid” (apparently around here they are  frequently coyote-wolf hybrids) crossed near the top of the hill just after these skiers passed.
