January 9, 2011: Great Skiing!

22 of us started out at 9:00, skied all over the place, wherever we felt like going, in constantly changing splinter groups, and finally met back at 3:00. The skiing was glorious! The parkways were all groomed right down to Gamelin, Ridge was good although it still needs more snow before it can be groomed (lots of rocks between Huron and Champlain, better between Gossip and Penguin, dangerously icy and narrow at Khyber Pass, great skier-packed skating beyond Western), Trail 15 was good going uphill from Pink to Kingsmere. (note: I did not ski all these trails myself!)
