Pavement meets Snow

A first bike ride yesterday, to the park, from Chelsea, in 22 degree sunshine.  Of course it wasn’t possible to cycle very far into the park!  The first snow starts just past the “goose pit”, not far from P8.  On the Doldrums side you can go for almost a km, but then a wall of cold air hits as you reach the first patches of snow.  There is also a great deal of gravel on the Doldrums, probably related to the ongoing repairs of the washed out section of road (two more photos).
