Spring in Gatineau Park!

(Two photos )The white hills  lured me to P10 this morning. (Is it really Spring?)   I came home hours and hours later with 300 photos!  What a beautiful day it was.  In places, Fortune Parkway and Ridge Road were surprisingly snowy underfoot!   All the trees from P10 to the lookouts were coated in ice. The parkways and trails were spared the ice, so walking was good. There were some quite sudden crashes and loud cracks in the woods as branches and ice blew off the trees.    By afternoon the sun appeared, bringing gusty ice showers as the trees shed their jewels.
