Gatineau Park deer are quite used to people. It’s common to see them, particularly if you are quietly walking on your own. But I had my dog with me – a coyote sized collie – so was quite surprised when the deer came toward us. Have they learned that a leashed domestic dog is no threat? The dog was equally surprised, and sat quietly and watched.
