The trails were so crusty on Friday that we HIKED out to P19 on the snowmobile trail to meet a friend  who was arriving that morning. .  Many other overnighters were walking out carrying skis, a few brave ones were skiing with their large packs.   The skiers preferred the snowmobile trails as the crust had been softened .
