For you photo-nerds only – this was simply an experiment to see what the small Canon camera could do at night with a bit of tinkering (no big cameras lugged in on this trip and I was on a strict self-imposed photo limit).   Anti shake was turned off, ISO was boosted,  white balance was set to Tungsten, the aperture was at its widest and the maximum 15 second exposure was used.  The camera was set on the ski rack and some of the extra noise was photo-shopped out at home, a 2 second operation.
