The good old Visitor Center bridge, this morning. What the photo doesn’t convey are the many groups who were out enjoying this small loop this morning. It was ideal for walking or running, and although there were indeed many walkers of all ages (but few runners) and dogs of every vintage, there were also families with toboggans, parents pulling sleds full of small children, a couple of mothers introducing their young children to skiing (a poor trail for this, I thought) , parents with baby gliders and strollers, a couple of wannabe serious skiers (not a great trail for this either) and several groups of snowshoers crunching along on the concrete snow. There were also happy children playing in the mounds of snow piled up by the snow plows. And the parking lots were completely full. Just amazing!
