(photos are almost up to date!) Cycling is extra “green” when in the park. Weekday mornings are wonderful.  There are usually many more cyclists than cars.  The few cars are usually very polite (this changes later in the day when the yahoos come out to cruise)  And unlike Sunday cycling, there are usually no giant pelotons of  oblivious pack cyclists brushing by in formation with only mm to spare.   I could hear many animals in the forest, but the greenery is now too thick to see anything.
