An epic (for us) snow shoe, featuring glacial erratics, swamps, several lakes, many climbs and descents, snowmobile trails and a logging road. It was cold and two days after the rain so the trails were very hard and often icy. In fact some of the trails had been closed off (we ignored this since we were on foot). It was also during the morning of the Canadian men’s hockey final, so there was nary a snowmobiler or human of any kind to be seen.
