I was a turtle today, poking along with my favorite camera. I had intended going up Penguin and Ridge, but at the last minute was inspired to go in any other direction in order to keep clear of a hiking group whose leader was blasting on a shrill whistle to get the group’s attention. ARGH!! The smaller trails were so much nicer!
