“Spot the bears”. Garry glimpsed this mother bear and two tiny cubs (only one visible in this photo) in one of the swamps below the Gatineau Parkway. It’s always worthwhile taking a gander as you cycle by, in case you get lucky! This was taken with our 15 year old old, 3 megapixel Kodak digital camera, super slow, no stabilization, almost no zoom, but still working, nice greens and easy to stick in a pocket or bike bag.
