HAPPY NEW YEAR! Records are being broken – coldest January 1st since 1876 and longest spell in decades of such cold temperatures. I skied only 3 times during the last week, a personal record for a snowy Christmas week. Instead it was tempting to walk or run, to forego the bone chilling downhills of skiing. (Been there, done that). We had a very nice, chilly walking tour of Chelsea at dusk, which included the local waterfall (no water), the old graveyard, the new NCC outdoor rink and the Sugar Bush Trail where the photo was taken.
