A disappointing ski. We had intended to finally ski 36 as it was marked groomed at 8:30. However after the first uphill we realized we really didn’t have the energy or the skis for a back country adventure. So we managed to snag a parking spot at P10. Less than stellar grooming on the Fortune Parkway. If it was groomed before last night’s snow, the snow pretty much canceled out the grooming. It had none of the appeal of BC or of beautiful tracksetting – just a mess. It was better on the Champlain parkway, although many skaters had forgotten to colour inside the lines. Anyway, we had a short ski and saved some energy for tomorrow.
