Is everyone alright? There were several odd things during that bike ride. 1. This almost invisible, thin, sharp wire was in the bike lane on Scott Road. I caught my bike shoe in it, and then stopped to move the large coil from the path. Could have been worse! 2. Construction crews put signs up right in the middle of the bike lane on Meech Lake Road (nothing new here). 3. I had to slam on my brakes descending the Fortune Parkway when a bus sized line painting vehicle appeared heading toward me on my side of the road. No signs warning of this. 4. On the return trip, two spots on Scott Road had been closed with a few cones cones. No signage whatsoever. Presumably cars heading in that direction could just veer into the bike lane or over to the opposite side of the road?
