It had been a couple of years since I skied the Wakefield Triangle but this was the second one in 3 days, this time in what I would call the “wrong” direction. Conditions are so good right now! The exciting downhills became slogging uphills, but there are still lots of downhills and it was interesting to see the scenery backwards. My favorite portion is the hemlock forest on trail 52, a few k from P17. While going clockwise one can savour the beauty a bit longer. ( I didn’t stop often for photos as I was with a group).
