Here is my brother Jim with his “interchangeable lens” solar eclipse camera – a Budweiser box and two Tim Horton’s coffee cups, with different sized apertures. Unfortunately he was out of duct tape, but the camera still worked brilliantly. Unlike Garry who traveled to Oregon, we did the local watered down version of the eclipse. Although it was a very sunny afternoon, the sky did seem a bit strangely coloured, almost as though the white balance was off! Hazy and dilute.
