One of two bears hanging around just above Wattsford Lookout, on trail 1.  We saw them in the bushes as we headed out, and on our return trip saw this one on the other side of the trail.  According to a hiker one of the bears was parked on the trail for a while.  Sorry about the quality of the photo – not only was it taken with my poor waterproof camera in dim light, I also didn’t want to hang around too long to get the perfect shot!  As far as running conditions go, to quote my buddy Lyse there was just “enough” mud. Only a couple of stretches of ice were left.
