We have been gradually getting to know the snowmobile/hunting trail network in the area of Lac Champagneur. No one walks or hikes, of course around here, so we have these beautiful trails to ourselves until the hunting season opens and ATVs take over. It’s quite an extensive and disused network in the summer, yet it feels bereft of wildlife.
