It’s certainly bizarre that Gatineau Park trails are closed even to distancing walkers who live in the neighborhood. Rumour has it that intruders are chased out by patrollers on ATV’s, which is even more bizarre. Meanwhile Garry and I have been checking out all the Chelsea trails within walking distance. In this hemlock grove the well worn trail was surprisingly icy still – and deserted.
