Today sounded cold, but the intense sun and lack of wind made a huge difference. It was a beautiful ski! There was also perfect grooming, as you can see. One question though: When coming from Black Lake towards Kingsmere there are double classic tracks until you reach the summer parking lot, at which point the second track suddenly disappears, never to return. I first noticed this last year. It reminds me of those bike lanes that dump cyclists onto a sidewalk or a road. I have never seen a bike or snowmobile here and hikers already have a nearby trail. Why has one track been removed?
