“Mortar Lake below 9360′ summit Nowitka S5 in St. Mary’s Alpine provincial park in BC’s southern Purcells. Smaller Pestle Lake is tucked out of view in the next basin higher up the mountain. The extensive boulder fields are typical travel routes in this park with no established trails.“
