At 8:00 a.m. the snow at P10 was much thinner/scraped/flattened than expected, only a cm deep in spots, and little sticking to the parkway.  In the photo the snow looks  deeper than it was!  It was likely better higher up, but we bailed before the lake, wanting to pick  our way down the scanty snow of the last hill before 100  agile team skiers arrived.
