Eric, one of the many keen skiers out today.   The basic parkway loop was groomed this morning, including up to the Champlain Lookout.  In places the classic tracks were thin, , but all in all it was a treat to have some authentic skiing.  (two photos)

Trail 50 from P16 was skiable yesterday. There were a few rocks visible but since a snowmobile had compacted the snow they could be seen and avoided. We used rock skis but that wasn’t necessary for classic skiing -it might be for skating though.

We only went as far as Herridge but it looked as though the snowmobile came from Lac Philippe
