Garry trying out his new Christmas boots this morning.  If you know Garry, you will realize how momentous this is.  He was loathe to part with his well- loved old boots  which had carried him well  over 10,ooo miles in 18 years.   The verdict?  The new ones are wonderful – and warmer.

The skiing was good this morning.  Lot of children and new skiers were out getting their first taste of the sport.
