Trilliums are out!  It was a stunning spring day – perfect for strolling in the woods, looking for flowers and listening for birds…..and no bugs yet.

I’ve never seen a red trillium. All the ones in my wood in St. Bruno were white.

The blackflies were starting to arrive in the Lac Phillippe area on the weekend. Not bothersome yet but they soon will be!
