January 1, 2011: Plus 3 and foggy

Garry did  skate laps on the icy center which was turning  slushy as the temperature rose.  I did multiple repeats of classic  “pixel sprints” (10 seconds of skiing, followed by 3 minutes of photos) on waxless skis, with a large camera dangling around my neck, a first.  Such a fun morning, but perhaps more for the fog than the skiing!   The snow is going fast.  The yellow line is starting to show through in quite a few spots, as well as bits of grass and dirt.  It started raining just as we finished.
