We had a wonderful two night stay at Wanakiwin, made so much more wonderful by the loan of two beautiful sleds by Frederic Ranger. We are now very inspired to make our own. Thanks, Frederic!
Before we left there was a huge dump of fresh snow (15cm?) and we managed to ski out before the rain began (sometime after 11:00).

I am glad that you guys got out before the rain started – skiing in that would have been no fun.
Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at Wanakiwin Yurt. Great food, great company, and terrific skiing. A real adventure getting out in all that weather! Let’s do it again some time.
