A day of errands around town, a dismal day weather-wise. A recap of weather in Chelsea: a lot of heavy snow fell yesterday, at least 15 cm, followed by rain starting yesterday afternoon and ending this morning. However, Ottawa seems to have had much more rain than Chelsea. What a mess! Ottawa was also several degrees warmer than Chelsea today – it was remarkable to feel and see the difference after only a short car drive. It didn’t reach more than 2 or 3 degrees in Chelsea. There are still huge piles of snow on the ground, which bodes well for Spring skiing.
Our friends intended to ski today but encountered barriers at P10 and P9. The trails were mushy, not too surprising!
