Fog and drizzle – great skiing!

A pile of photos today…… the skiing suited me to a “T”.  No crowds, lots of atmospheric fog, and my waxless skis worked well.  Even the downhills were hard work, so it wasn’t necessary to ski very far!  There were goose, rabbit, grouse, deer, fox, and  skiers’ tracks  (one was mine, one belonged to a skater) on the Gatineau Parkway.   There are still no serious bare spots, although there is a bit of pavement showing in two spots between P8 and Mica.

The Doldrums are a mess, but skiable, although inundated with boot ruts. If they had been groomed more recently they would be okay, although there are some bare spots now developing.
