Garry skated around on 50 and the  Taylor Lake Road, to the edge of the classic-only trail 55 (missing all the good classic-only stuff) and waited here for Janey and me to exit the forest.  This is one of my favorite spots,  I just love this swamp!

And it really was as beautiful as it looks – just like spring skiing in January.

i love the swamps too…i find when i’m skiing even on the parkways, they always catch my eye.
