This morning  as we swam at Meech, two adult loons watched from  about 20 feet away – very serene and unconcerned.   These 3 photos, however, were taken Saturday at Lac LaPeche at a discrete distance making sure we did not spook the birds.  The photos are zoomed and cropped, but you can still make out  the two tiny, brand-new chicks.
