This morning it is minus 31 at the Gatineau airport.  Brrr..  Just wait for that wind chill to kick in!     This is a photo from yesterday.  Aren’t we lucky to have Gatineau Park?  Even the “Doldrums”, at most a 30 minute drive from downtown Ottawa, and considered by many to be the most predictable and flat  trail in Gatineau park, would be envied by skiers in most other North American cities.

You are so right. Every time I’m in the park, I say, “We are so lucky.”

I’m afraid WC of -32 is too cold for me, though.

Hi, I love reading your daily commentary. In case you want to share a ski report from this afternoon, it was great classic skiing. Burma: lightly skied, so the dusting of powder is still on it, making it very nice. One good trackset. Two thumbs up! The surprise of the day: #2 and #33 have 15 cm of soft powdery snow, perfectly track-set the old way. Glorious! Three thumbs up.
