Off skiing shortly but should have posted this yesterday. This is another one of those sudden-stoppers embedded in the frozen snow. It’s the outside classic track on Ridge Road somewhere between the top of 24 and 1B (can’t quite remember where) on a flat stretch. Not too dangerous as it is not on a downhill, however it will coast over your ski boot, grab your ankle and stop you if you aren’t paying attention. There are many eye-grabbers still, but this was a bit more subtle.
It’s tempting to ski with a pair of clippers in the pack. But only if you’re not in a hurry!
