Here are a few photos from a recent road bike trip – our second section of the P’tit Train du Nord. This part took us from Labelle to Lac Saguay and back. As you can see, this portion was paved, so we used road bikes and covered quite a few more miles than on the previous dirt section. About every 20 k there was a “train station” with a simple wooden shelter, fresh running water and an outhouse. As said before “Québec sait faire”.

We biked the section from Tremblant to Blainville and were really impressed with the facilities for cyclists – washrooms, water fountains, nice picnic tables, etc. Bought a fabulous sandwich at 1 station ( south of Val David)and had a sheltered area to eat it.
One surprising aspect to the trip was that nobody used their bells to signal that they would be passing.There were no dangerous incidents, but it would have been courteous to do so.
Would recommend this trip.
